sjp Posted April 16, 2012 Share Posted April 16, 2012 Looks like my CLB x NAKED NECK is broody she started growling back end of last week but yesturday she took up residence in the nest box and has gone from a nice friendly little girl into a right nasty witch as anyone had any experiance with broody CLB crosses do they tend to be sitters or get fed up after a couple of days once they have eggs? I don't intend to not let her be a mom but just want to know what to look for she'll only have 4 or 5 eggs as I done what to test one of her 'sisters' eggs just to see what I get Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sjp Posted April 20, 2012 Author Share Posted April 20, 2012 well the questrion has been answered she's not cut out to be a broody body's willing but the brain isn't she's had 2 goes in the broody coop since Monday one with training egg 1 with real eggs she sat on then at night but come morning that was it came oof the eggs allday so she spent 2 days without eggs and today she laid her first egg since last weekend so she can go back in with her sisters tonight Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
