I've put the girls to bed tonight and bought the glug and grub in for a wash. Had terrible trouble getting the top off the grub. Was worried I'd break the clips off. Is there a nack to it or have I got a difficult one?

No it's not you, I find mine really difficult to get off.

I have a hanging one now, the girls seem to prefer it and they dont chuck as much out.

I think they're meant to be like it - mine are stupidly hard to get off too.

 

I sometimes use the open one without a lid in my WIR for an extra feed station but find with water that its a funny angle and spills really easily, especially if the little pekins try + perch on the side when drinking!

Ditto - its a break the fingernail job. Much prefer the one that comes with the Cube.
