Kirstie
Well there is a lot of excitement in our house today! as we are on day 21 of Belle sitting on her eggs. She is in lock down (the door is shut tight today! There is no sunbathing allowed!) so I just fed her a little food and water - really I just wanted a little listen to see if I could hear any cheep cheeps I couldn't hear anything! So I had a little feel under her and I felt .... an egg (no surprise there ) but I felt a little pipped area So now I am sooooooooo excited and also nervous that something will go wrong. So now the pacing and waiting impatiently starts and I just wanted to also say wooooooooohooooooooo (sorry I think there is more excitement then nervousness here right now) Kirstie

Kirstie
Well I've just been out to see how it's all going (I have been out lots today hearing cheeping from this afternoon) but I thought I'd lift her a little to peep and there was one empty egg and a fluffy chick hiding behind mum. The other two eggs havent hatched yet and I didn't look closely at what stage they were as it was a really quick peep and I removed the empty egg. Fingers crossed we have more then one by the morning x Very excited
surfer_chicken
Yay ! My broody last year ate the empty eggshells before I could get to them Still got the one that was left when I got home though, safely tucked away in a drawer Good luck with the rest of the hatching x
