Take part in study on PFAS 'forever chemicals' in eggs

The girls are due to be dusted for mites at the weekend. It's the first time I've had to do them so any advice or tips would be welcome.

I use a louse powder on my girls every few weeks and diatom in their dustbath. It's so much easier having someone to help. OH holds a chicken and I check the chicken over and look for any eggs and nasties, then I powder - under the wings, bottom, neck. Pretty much all over (and myself and OH also get de-bugged it can be messy).

I just use a spot on and a spray... trying to dust 12 'ornery bantams is no fun!

I didn't know you could get a spot on for chucks. Where do I get that from Dogmother?

You'll need to take a chicken with lice to a chicken-savvy vet. have a look at a few of the stickies and threads on here for information.
