So I currently have four SL wyandotte chicks with their buff orp mother in the eglu and have been popping their feeder and drinker in the eglu with them at night, they are about 16 days old and I was wondering when I can stop doing this as they are obviously pretty active and everything and keeping it out of the house makes it much tidier, do they still need 24 hour access at this stage?

They don't need access to either food or water during the night.

They will be fine at this time of year as the daylight hours are long enough for them to eat enough food

 

Unless you are particularly slow at letting them out in the mornings I wouldnt worry
