shemybelle
Rocky Balboa, our Rhode Rock, laid a softie the first day here (Sunday), so I've been expecting a proper egg and this morning we got one! She sat in the nest box (clever girl) for about half an hour, and the other two (Apollo the Snowdrop and Super Ally the Bluebell) stood right outside the Eglu, as if they were standing guard. Here it is (hope this works)! Lx
angeluk69
Wow! That looks huge!! Have you weighed it yet?
shemybelle
Not yet. I'll do that when I get home. It's about the same size as a shop bought egg. I think I just have tiny hands! Lx

Purplemaniacs
Well done R B. That is a good size for a first egg. Chrissie

shemybelle
Thank you, guys! I was so excited about the egg, just had I share the news with people who understand. I didn't really "get it" until I got my first one. I was grinning like a fool all day yesterday! I'm supposed to be going out this morning, but I want to hang out in the garden to see if I get another egg! Lx
