Yesterday I only got 2 eggs from my 3 girls who are all generally quite reliable little layers, they all have their day every couple of weeks so I thought nothing of it. I went out last thing in the evening when they were all settled and roosting just to double check because I didn't want the 3rd egg getting trampled in the morning... nothing. This morning however, about 10am... 4 eggs. How?! Is it possible that one of them was backed up or something or am I going mad? Or do I have the next generation of super layers?
