Unsecure chicken perches

Hi - have found 3 earwigs in the seal around the eglu door this morning. (One squashed!) Will they hurt the girls and if so what can I do about them. Thanks

Mine eat them so no problems really.

Thanks that's my old garden, it didn't look that nice when I left! Just waiting to have the 4 tonnes of topsoil that's dumped in the middle of this garden to be levelled (the whole garden was covered in crazy paving when I moved in) and then turfed. I'm going to be a bit stricter on the free ranging front then - well I will try to be ...

Earwigs are rumoured to be quite usefull in a hen house, because they eat mite. Unfortunately, hens eat earwigs...

Never saw any in my old house but here they indoors and out. Might let the girls in for a snack but that seems mean on the erawigs!
