Meganymoo
Its my dogs 1st Birthday this weekend and i wanted to make him a special birthday cake that he can eat! Any one know of some good dog friendly recipes I could use? Thanks Megan
The Dogmother
Not of human-type cakes as most dogs don't tolerate gluten (flour) well, but I regularly make mine up some liver or sardine cake (it's more like leather really) to break up and use as treats. lillybettybabs
Slightly nutty but..... i use a jelly mold and press their raw mince into it and weigh it down overnight in the fridge. Girls have a sunflower mold Dylan sadly just has a loaf tin but decorated with Misfits (his favorite treat).
The Dogmother
I am sure that Dylan doesn't mind it not being pretty - he probably doesn't even notice!
lillybettybabs
I guess it doesn't live long for him to notice, they all get a slice of each others at birthday/gottcha time And a birthday walk to Bradgate park. Tough Gun dog trainer, me!
