Coop light problems!

Today I met up with some ex-Met Pol ladies for a history walk in the city. It was so much fun and I felt comfortable with them straight away. I find joining a group of people on my own very difficult but I suppose because we share something it was easier. Because we were walking I'd find myself with someone different all the time so I met lots of people quickly. The talk was peppered with 'where did you serve', 'did you know' that sort of thing. A couple of them were in the Women's police service which integrated not long before I joined up. I'll definitely be doing more.

Sounds like you had a good day and always easier to meet new people if you have a shared interest ie the police force.
