Hello I really need some help. 3 of my chooks have got eye infections. I don't know what to do and I'm starting to panic I went away last Saturday with all my chickens looking healthy but I've come back to find 3 of them with swollen/crusty looking eyes. My grandma was looking after them and did all the things we usually do. Can I use eyedrops or something like that

If they are sneezing and snotty too, I'd get them to a vet toot sweet, as it may be mycoplasma, which needs antibiotics fairly urgently.

Thank you, they have'nt got snotty/sneezing and i read though some of the previous posts and found about bathing the eye but thank you anyway

How are they doing? If no improvement I woiluld take them to the vet. You don't always get obvious respiratory problems with mycoplasma.

If their eyes are foamy/bubbling then definitely get checked for Mycoplasma by a vet, one of my girls showed this about 2 days after I got her! Otherwise you can buy Honeywells Eye Balm from Jolleyes pet stores/internet/etc. Tiacil is an antibiotic eye drop but a vet prescribes this. By the way, most chickens hate having stuff put in their eyes so its best if one holds her and another adminsters any medicine
