sadietoo
So I've left it a bit late... this weekend we are going to my Darling Dad's brother and his wife's joint 80th Birthday party and Diamond Wedding Anniversary...my uncle is absolutely on the ball but I think my Aunt may be a bit less well....any suggestions for a present...(I know this is late but I kept thinking inspiration would hit me....and it hasn't ) My Dad died a couple of years ago..so I had thought maybe a photo or something of them all together but I'm not confident that they'll not have something like this already.. and it would be a very old photo since although reconciled when my Dad died, they had had a long period of separation...hence I don't really know them that well. My Uncle is still very active, drives and loves bird watching etc...I'm not so sure about my Aunt...any help much appreciated!
Angie
If you were thinking of a photo why not a digital photo frame and down load lots of family photos onto it for the slide show ...I love mine.

scubababe
or you could have the photo's mad into a book. Obviously too late for this weekend but it gives you another excuse for visiting them and you can add in photo's from the weekend
sadietoo
Just wanted to say thanks for the ideas.....We seriously considered a digital photoframe, but in the end I opted to buy tickets for them (we bought four so they can take friends/family) on our local canal boat trip...Its a lovely way to spend a couple of hours....we also took loads of photos and will send them to them... I'm pleased to say that in spite of torrential rain early this morning, it was hot warm and sunny in Sussex to bless their day...It was lovely to see them both and all my cousins and a great time was had by allx
