craftyhunnypie
I know this sounds daft, but my piggies have a bit of dry skin from where they caught the sun. I do put sun cream on their tender bits, but I want some sort of Aftersun / moisturiser for them. I thought about some Aloe vera gel - or does anyone else have any other ideas. They are very pampered piggies. Emma.x
lillybettybabs
We used to create mud wallow for the farm pigs, dig s shallow hole and keep it wet.
The Dogmother
Yes, mud wallows are best. Do they have any shade in the paddock? If they already have burned skin then smother it in Sudocrem.
craftyhunnypie
They have a huuuuge wallow which we constantly fill daily with water & let it turn to mud. They pigs also have lots of shade as they have trees on two sides of their paddock. We know what we are doing, we know our stuff - we are not stupid. However, pigs will be pigs & crash out where they want, not where you want them to ie: in the sun. I have some special Aloe vera stuff now - brilliant stuff!
