HennyPenny59 Posted August 25, 2012 Author Share Posted August 25, 2012 Well, the beautiful morning we had has now gone and has been replaced with thunder and heavy rain, and the girls are now hiding under the coop not looking so happy. The dustbath is a gravel tray I bought from my local garden centre .. It only cost £5.00. I must get my OH to build something for it to go under, as each time it rains I have to run out and put a cover on it! Yes, Gretel my Speckeldy has got lovely feathers .. When I went to get them all 7 weeks ago, she was in a shed with about 100 other hens, and she seemed to really stand out. She is a really friendly and follows me everywhere.
