hey all, an odd question but worth a go- ive got an old record player (must be a 60s one) and it needs fixing- it plays but needs a bit of work. does anyone know of any place that fixes these in the northwest/midlands areas? a long shot i know, but maybe someone knows of somewhere or has passed a place recently! thanks all

No, but am sure if you ask at a branch of Richer Sounds or independent record store they'd know someone (or someone who knows someone) - enthusiasts are probably your best bet

thanks merlina that's a good idea, its definitely going to be enthusiasts or an independent place, might have to get on a vintage music forum or something!

It might be worthwhile googling "vintage record player repairs" as there are a number of places that specialise. Even if they can't help you, they could probably recommend someone who could (or where to go for names)
