auntielizzie Posted October 9, 2012 Share Posted October 9, 2012 I'm no expert, but Barbara looks very much like my Colombian Blacktail, Betty. Looking at the comb, which looks quite small, I think she is quite young - maybe POL. As I say though, I am no expert, so hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be along soon. Snowy Posted October 9, 2012 Share Posted October 9, 2012 You've asked the same question in several posts now, and everyone is saying the same thing - they look like normal healthy hens (apart from the cockerel!) Maybe if you gave us some more information about them it would help. What do you want to know, is it just the lack of eggs? In which case, others have already explained - hens are not machines, they will have a natural break and often at this time of year. Is there something else about them that concerns you?
