Chortle Chook
You are awfully good at taking ducky (and chicky) photos I love that one of your chap trying to get into the bath Is that grass that you put in the holder thing? If so do you pick it and then chop it? Just wondering as it has given me an idea about how to get my ducks (and chickens) some more greens as there is no grass at all in my garden. Cheeky Chooky
Thanks Catherine No, the grass was cut by the OH and the lawnmower. See http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=90963
chestnutmare
I always enjoy looking at your photos. You have lovely chickens, a lovely set up and an impressive camera with good photography skills. What breed are your ducks? They are very pretty. Cheeky Chooky
Awww thank you I don't think my photography skills are anything to shout about but the camera is a-ma-zing! It's a Panasonic Lumix FZ150 and I can't believe the photos I get from it, just on the auto setting I took some fab ones today of Daisy and Dilys having a good old splash in their trug I'll try to post them tomorrow. My duckies are Miniature Silver Appleyards...such lovely little characters
chestnutmare
I know it's not easy to get a nice picture of these chickens and ducks... they don't keep still! Oo they are lovely. Are they decent layers?
Cheeky Chooky
Unfortunately I haven't had them long enough to find out; I'll have to wait until Spring now. Everything I've read about them says they lay well...I guess only time will tell
