Surfnirvana
I asked my OH to make a water heater to stop the water freezing during winter. I thought you may like to see how he did it. I must admit, I was quite impressed myself!

suebee
Very clever hubby indeed! My OH (bless him) doesn't do 'electrickery'.... He is, however, a whizz with wood... Mmmm... not going to prevent me water freezing tho eh... Bought a water heater instead. (Got a fab WIR tho! )
charly1979
Thats brilliant. Im the sparky in our household (not that the hubby cant we are both in engineering) However my hubby specialises in computers so unless my girls want to surf the net, get a facebook page, play call of duty, fifa 2012 or angry birds (that may give them ideas) or control subsea oil wells he isnt going to be much use to them
Surfnirvana
Thanks for your comments. I am pleased to report that, after two nights below freezing, it has performed perfectly. The glug was frozen but the waterer on the heater was fine. Lots of brownie points for my OH!
