Mr Rhode Island Red Posted December 16, 2012 Share Posted December 16, 2012 Its been a while since I posted here, and this is supposed to be a chicken forum, but here goes: I have started to notice that my computer is becoming slow and is freezing a bit more often. Here is a nice bit of technical jargon I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, with a Intel Pentium 2.80 GHz processor. About a year ago, I added an extra 1GB of RAM to the machine, so it currently has 2GB RAM. I will admit, there isn't much space left on it, there is about 2.5GB memory free on the C: drive of 71GB. I have heard that clearing "Temp" files can help greatly, but I am not sure if this is a good idea, or how to do so. Any ideas... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

craftyhunnypie Posted December 17, 2012 Share Posted December 17, 2012 You could always do a system restore, to a date & time you remember it running well. My computer, control panel, system & maintenence - then system restore is up the top left. Choose a time & date then click next. It will shut down then restart your computer.
