Karen & co.
Doesn't toast call out for butter? Karen x
The Dogmother
No, plain granary toast with no butter How can you eat it like that?! Yuk, it'd be all hard and chewy like hamster food! Uggghh. Toast is crying out for loads of butter; best eaten still hot! Got a real pash at the moment for Hovis 'Sunny' bread - sunflower seeds and honey - yum. Used to make all my own bread in the BC (Before Child) days!
Cate in NZ
I like Sunny bread too Clare . Have you tried Sainsburys organic sunflower & pumpkin seed bread? It's a relatively new introduction to their "So Organic" range and it's pretty scrummy I've got a breadmaker & ideally prefer to make own bread, and generally do at weekends, but have to rely on supermarket bread during the week Somehow my own bread is only good on the same day, which is no good really for childrens packed lunches. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
The Dogmother
They do that organic bread in Tesco too, and when I'm feeling flush I get some and savour it! I used to make my bread with my old kenwood mixer and dough hook. loved making and still do sometimes when I have the time.
