Charlottechicken Posted January 28, 2013 Share Posted January 28, 2013 I have used Topcashback (and previously Quidco) successfully for a few years now, but about eight months ago noticed that a recent Argos transaction had not paid out. I challenged it and received the correct amount of cashback. Never thought any more about it and as I don't buy much online anyway, I haven't been checking how my transactions have been progressing. Today I was telling a manager all about cashback sites, and checked my topcashback account when I got home. I purchased a new mobile phone in November and bought it through topcashback. The transaction is worth a promised £12 and has not paid out I have just challenged it. I used to read the comments from folk who didn't receive their promised cashback with scepticism, now I'm not so sure If you have any transactions going through a cashback site, keep an eye on them to make sure they pay out! Lesley Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 I'm waiting for the payout through TopCashBack re an RAC membership but it does say that it will be 6 months before payment is made - when I read all the comments before taking it out the average time to payment was 16 weeks so thought it was worthwhile. I do check every week so I'm keeping an eye on it. One month to go before I can start pushing. It does seem that things are slipping for some reason.
