We are down to four hens and plan tomorrow to get six new ones, giving a total of 10. My question is - do you think I could actually fit 11 into the Cube? They have a large walk in run, probably about 9m by 2m, full height with lots of perches, ladders etc. They also free range in the garden at least four or five times a week. Thanks.

I have the Cube and one of the eglu's in my WIR and all but 2 of them squeeze into the Cube at night.

Saying that, most of mine are bantams (5 are LF) so Pekins and Belgian bantams probably take up a quarter of what a LF Marans would do

Thanks for the replies. I decided to get 7 hens and they're in a dog kennel at the moment in the WIR run. Will integrate them with the existing 4 in a couple of weeks and they should all fit in the Cube I think. We could always leave the kennel in place if necessary.
