Princess Leia
Our oldest GP, Chris, died on Friday. He had never had a visit to the vet in his life, but had gone off his food a couple of days before and went downhill very fast. Old age, I guess - he was 5 1/2. Will miss the noisy little tyke - his favourite trick when hungry was to remove the metal food cup from it's holder with his teeth (hard enough to do two-handed) and run it along the bars of his cage - prisoner style. Minnie&Moose
Very sorry to hear about Chris - sounds like he was a lovely lad and that he had a long and happy life. He was very lovely looking - I've never seen a black guinea with a white patch like that before - ours were all much less distinguished looking. Princess Leia
He was a pedigree American Crested GP, although he wasn't up to show standard. His mother had died shortly after he was born, so he was hand raised and was underweight and small for his type as a result.
Minnie&Moose
Great that he lived so long after such a tricky start to life. Even if he wasn't up to show standard he was still stunning looking
