Omlet cube and run

I havnt yet purchaced my eglu but am looking more favourably at the cube, is there a particular colour that withstands fading better than others as the second hand( i will be buying new) are nice to look at as its given me an idea of what mine will look at when it is a little older the green one took my fancy but thats the colour im noticing fades! Do the red/ purple ones have the same problem if so ill build a cover!

I have 3 green ones. The oldest of the three, a Classic which I got second hand, is greener than the newer Classic! I think they all still look very nice - I have no issue with any slight fading that there may be.

Interestingly, I have previously put Grubs / Glugs, (the food and water containers), through the dishwasher. They went in looking older / a bit faded and came out looking brand new and greener!?

I hope that helps. I've never regretted getting green - what ever shade of green they are still matches some green vegetation or other and so looks 'right'.

Ha ha no that does makes sense not thle part about your glugs and grubs cominglk out greener but thats worth knowing about lol i cant quite decide on colour x

I have green and its a year old and still looks fab (other than the bit we stuck duck tape too - oops).... Lady I bought from had a really old purple one and it looked the best of all of hers. Happy with my green, but wish I'd been allowed purple!! OH was still being persuades to chicken ownership and thought green more "gardeny"

The darker ones do seem to hold their colour better. I've got purple and blue that look fab but green has faded and the pink rablu just looks dirty. The reds not too bad either.
