snowberry
Just a quickie. DD is going there over the Bank Holiday weekend for the day with school. Considering that they are going from St Ives in Cornwall, I'm glad it's the teachers that are taking them rather than me Anyway, what kind of spending money will she need? She's taking food for the coach, but I presume that food costs there are going to be astromonical. Does she need anything extra for rides? Thanks, Em x
Geoid
All the rides are free (after you have paid the entrance fee), food is very expensive, I would take at least £15 for food
C&T
Not been for years, but yes food is not cheap... (Although if like me, the effect of going on all the rides means food is not high on the agenda!!) The ride photo's and souvenirs are also not cheap. The rides should all be included, but think there are arcade games which will happily swallow some more of your cash if that is what you want to do... In short, if you take £5, you will get a drink and be fine for the day. But assuming you don't want to play all the arcades, or buy every photo at every ride, £30-£40 would make sure had some food/drinks and a souvenir or 2. Margalot
Hi, lots of food choices / options there, and if you eat from the kiosks they are a bit cheaper. The hot dog and fries deal from a kiosk is one of the cheaper options about £6 for a meal deal, there is also a kfc with same menu as normal kfc, they also have donuts and coffee kiosks / popcorn/ sweets etc. drinks you can pay around £7 for a refillable plastic cup, souveniers are the same as any other park, but there are smaller things to buy. The photos are the money spinner there although saying that you can buy a photo deal for £15-20 for around 4-5 pics. the more expensive food is at the sit down restaurants there is a grill bar a pizza hut and some other. I would think £20.00 would cover drink food and a few sweets! We are off there on the 8th May!! just bought the tickets today
