Chicken deficient
As in, just putting one in its shell on the rack? I suppose I should just try it really, but I haven't quite recovered from cleaning the oven yet and I didn't want to land myself with a similar job to do on the barbecue. Lesley
I would think it might explode in the way it would in a microwave. I'd try Googling to see if others have tried it
Lavenders_Blue
Erm... No I haven't! I also think it would explode, and it wouldn't taste barbecued anyway. Let us know how you get on (with photos!) if you try it
lillybettybabs
I can see it exploding too, You could pierce a small hole with a needle but you would have to keep it upright.
Lavenders_Blue
The same question has been asked here with a few different responses including LBB's idea of poking a hole in the end. Also a suggestion of cracking the egg into a muffin tray. Either way, I can't see it taking on the smokey BBQ flavour but I could be wrong!
