riane
I booked ages ago to take my brood to Ullswater camping on Sat till Thur. Now it is nearly here I am having second thoughts coz of the weather. Are any of you near Ullswater? whats it like? Here in Sheffield I think we have been under a rain cloud for over a month now so its hard to imagine any different. I have checked the bbc and met office forcast which shows a brightening picture for mon and tuesday... I would appreciate all your wonderful advice. Snowy
You'll have a great time Maria - as long as you go prepared for the weather! Wellies and waterproofs and a good waterproof tent. And then it will probably be sunny! My kids love it - even if it does rain!
Tina C
We are camping near Keswick from Saturday. Looked at the forecast and it seems to be OK. At least the Lake District is 'designed' to be wet! Last year it rained most of the week up there but we still had fun. As Snowy says as long as you have the right gear you will be fine. Most kids I know love messing around in the rain. Have fun!
