Eggasperated
Can anyone recommend a good tv guide app for the iPad? I have been using a free one for ages but now they have 'upgraded' it and its useless. Many thanks
kissinuk
The Sky+ app is excellent (if you have Sky).
Eggasperated
Freeview only I'm afraid - forgot that would make a difference .
UKMARCH
Hi don't know what you were using but I've been using TV guide in a red heart and seems fine I don't use it that much though it does have ads too.
kissinuk
'TV Catchup' is good too, it also lets you watch live TV, but also acts as a guide. I know it's not much good for you, but the Sky app even lets you control your Sky box now, very impressive. Someone needs to do something similar for Freeview. Edit: ignore that TV Catchup doesn't show future listings now as far as I can tell. However, good news is the Sky+ app works for anyone, you don't have to be signed in to see the guide. Just add your channels to the Favourites list. Note it's Sky+ that you need rather than Sky Go.

That's the one I use too.
Eggasperated
That IS the one I'm using - but since it changed I haven't been able to get on with it at all. Maybe it's me or perhaps because I'm using the original iPad, or perhaps my slooooooow Internet connection in the countryside is a problem. Lavenders_Blue
To be honest, I don't use it that much anyway as I don't watch a lot of TV and when I do I tend to use the TV channel guide. So the iPad guide may well not be working well and I hadn't noticed.
