Patricia W
We've had loads of posts about fantastic achievements from those who did well in their AS/A levels, but I just wanted to reassure those who didn't get what they wanted that it's not the end of the world. My two nephews were badly advised in their choice of AS/A levels and either haven't done as well as expected or are having to take additional options now in order to get on the degree course they want. They are both very down because they are having to spend an extra year studying whilst their peers are going off to uni. I'm sure there are others out there in a similar position so don't despair - it's just an opportunity to rethink, and you'll all get where you want to be,and be much stronger, having learned from the experience. Ain't Nobody Here
Good advice. The son of a good friend of mine had to resit his 6th year while all his friends were going off to Uni but thankfully he got what he needed this time round and is off to Glasgow Uni next month .
