the-marks
Hi all So sadly, we had to have 2 of our girls PTS in the past week which has left us with just one. We want to get some new girls to keep her company but as we're going away soon we're thinking of leaving the introductions for a couple of weeks. Will a single girl be ok by herself for that long? She doesn't seem overly worried yet but it's still early days I guess! Shes in a cube with 5m run. Any thoughts or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks, Mark
Plum
Well I'd be far more worried about introducing new ones and going away. If it was me I'd wait until I get back
Chickabee
I agree, they can be nasty little things, I'd wait til you're there to oversee the whole introduction.
Lulabellx1
I agree, I would wait until I'm back to keep an eye on them all during intro's x
blueandwhite
Hi I left my one girl on her own after her 'partner' had to be PTS for around two weeks. Partly because I was so upset but also because I just didn't get chance to get to the farm. I got two new ones, followed all the advice on here re introductions, had 2 weeks of hell and then another 3 weeks where they all tolerated each other. Now Phoebe, my originally and formerly bullied by her 'partner'', is top chook and they are a harmonious little group. Good luck
