counturchickens
Beaky the ex batt has been with us for a year, and has never been quite right. I had come to the conclusion she might have sterile peritonitis as she does get the waddle from time to time. Recently though she has had more of a runny bottom and isn't quite as perky, although is eating and wandering about. In the last couple of days she has developed a squeak, which sounds like a hiccup. Any ideas anyone?
mollyripkim
Sorry haven't got any suggestions but didn't like to just read and run! I hope you get someone with more experience along soon.
Plum
Could be a cough. I'd listen to her breathing by putting your ear against her back and listening for rattles. If she's bright and ok it's probably not. Would gape worm give that symptom
counturchickens
I wondered about gape worm. If so am I better getting some invermectin?
Plum
Flubenvet double dose is appropriate if you have that. I'm not sure what the other signs might be but you can google it.
