Hi. I've recently been lucky enough to buy a Vitamix. I would like to have a go at making peanut butter in it but the recipe I have uses roasted unsalted peanuts which I can't find anywhere. Could anyone advise me where to buy these or recommend what they use please?

Don't know where to get those; have you tried doing a google search? The one and only time I made peanut butter, I used whatever peanuts I had - which were plain salted. Good luck!

My only thought is a health food store. We had one which sold them, unfortunately it's long gone. Also, have you tried the internet?

Could you roast your own?

I'll have a go at roasting some peanuts if I can't find any to buy. Peanut butter was one of the things I was looking forward to making in the Vitamix but the recipe book that comes with it is american so maybe unsalted roasted peanuts are more readily available there. Anyway I'm really enjoying using it to make other things - smoothies, milkshakes, pesto so far!
