Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

After all the trials and tribulations I've had introducing new girls to the old, I had an inspired idea today. Sadly my miss pepper pot had to be put to sleep. I went straight away and got another one who looked similar. I now know how chickens look when they are confused. They just couldn't work out what had happened. One spent a couple of hours crowing. Another in a separate run paced up and down all day (she can see the others). No fighting though and they all went to bed happy
