Does anyone own a Thermomix?

Made the most divine Rice Pudding in my Thermomix today. It was the best I have ever made.

 

1can (410 mls) Evaporated Milk. Make up to 750 mls with water.

 

40g sugar.

 

Pinch salt

 

95 g pudding rice.

 

Weigh all ingredients into Thermomix, and cook at 90 degrees, for 50 minutes, reverse speed spoon. MC on.

 

It continues to thicken after cooking. It was gorgeous.

Evaporated milk, haven't thought about that since I was a child.

 

Thanks for posting this Egluntyne, I will try this - I love rice pudding.

 

Have you every made Arancini (deep fried risotto balls)? I've been making a lot of risotto, purely to have leftovers to make these.

 

Season the leftover risotto well, and leave in the fridge overnight.

Then, form into small balls. Roll in flour then egg then breadcrumbs. Then deep fry for just a few minutes until golden. Eat immediately....or you can eat them cold too.

I serve them with (Thermy made) Tzaziki, Hummus, or other dip.

 

Heavenly.
