northybaby Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 So a couple of my hens have started coming out of their eglu really late at night when its dark. One of them just wont seem to go to bed. when she does wander in i have to run out and shut the door before she decides to wander out again. They have only started doing this very recently. before, as soon as it got dark they would be in bed and not come out. Any reason for this change? JellyBean2605 Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 Both of mine do this, they go in the coop but don't always go to sleep straight away so when I open the back door they come running out again! I currently have the run close to the house so me or the OH have to open the living room window to close the run now otherwise we can't get them to go to bed!
