Luvachicken
Since getting hooked on making things with bead, I just wondered if any of you could recommend a bead loom. I looked at this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Peak-Dale-Ultimate-Bead-Loom/dp/B009DF7QOQ/ref=sr_1_114?ie=UTF8&qid=1388761883&sr=8-114&keywords=beading+looms and this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Beadalon-Jewel-Loom-Portable-Beading/dp/B00BMSXLOG/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1388762143&sr=8-7&keywords=beading+looms and this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Indian-Beading-Loom-Metal-Instructions/dp/B00452Q1U2/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1388762184&sr=8-5&keywords=beading+looms but have no idea which is the best to go for, any ideas, I probably won't be making jewellery on it, more of a twisted icicle type thing. Plum
Firstly I would look at the size of what you want to make, then the appeal of the design. I would go for the wooden one because it looks good and is a bit wider but the reviews of the beadalon one says its easy to adjust the tension without wingnuts and the reviews are all positive and it's about a third of the price.
