Valkyrie
"Matt's let his sons name their new pet chickens - his eldest has decide he wants to call his Stevie The Minecraft Man, after his favourite computer game character!" (taken from the Facebook page) Now that woke me up properly with a good laugh! I gather the wife said no but it is staying as Stevie. LolaLayla
We would have had a Yu-Gi-Oh theme for all pets over a period of about 5 years if I hadn't put my foot down The hamster, who was totally YS's, did have some very strange name that I cannot think of for the moment. Valkyrie
Daughter had a toy rabbit called Ryoki after one of the cartoon series - it was a bunny/cat/rocket thingy. Hers was just bog standard stuffed toy with floppy ears!
patsylabrador
My daughter used to drag her doll around by the leg and called it Strangle. She has grown into a normal woman.

Guest
Hubby was allowed to name two of my girls but never again as we had a Weedol (RIP) and Dot 5 brake fluid, I shortened her to Dottie. He wanted to name one Flymo but I put my foot down *on his neck*
