Jamie Oliver recipe needed please.

Recommended Posts

At the school I work at, someone brought in the most delicious homemade cake.

It was a chocolate brownie with raspberries sprinkled over the top.

I did ask for the recipe but haven't been given it (and I don't like to keep asking) so I thought I'd ask my chicken friends if they have it.

All I know is that it was from a Jamie Oliver book and that it was a chocolate brownie with raspberries ................. and it was fab

is this is?

Ultimate Chocolate, Raspberry and Amaretto Brownie, recipe found on the net.

This low fat recipe for Chocolate and Red Fruits Brownie is chocolately and very moist, thanks to the yoghurt.

To make a good sized tray bake combine 3oz SR flour, 3oz sugar, 3oz margarine, 2 eggs, red currants work well or raspberries, plenty of cocoa powder and 3 tbsp of yoghurt. Cook until just done on top with a residue left on the fork when you test. The brownie will firm up slightly when it cools, but still be moist.

A variation on this recipe substitutes the berries for almonds, which look striking against the dark chocolate.

I dont have the book, but I found this buried deep in the JO website...

might be worth a try if it sounds familiar :D

Just wondering if you got to try any of the recipes and, if so, how they turned out?

Actually................I've been a bit busy and haven't made a cake for ages

And now we've eaten the mayo

Perhaps i'll get round to making something in the summer holidays.
