Eggshell Posted May 20, 2014 Share Posted May 20, 2014 Hi - new member here. I''ve bought an Eglu Go Up, and am hoping to collect my chickens this weekend. I'm just wondering how secure the door at the back of the eglu is and whether a fox could knock it open by scrabbling at the handle. Not sure if I should try to make it more secure. Cat tails Posted May 20, 2014 Share Posted May 20, 2014 Mine doesn't open that easily, but you never know. My back door sort of gets stuck a bit if the tie raps get in between the door ( too lazy to clip them...) If you're really worried, you might want to jar something between the door and the coop, but I'm not sure if it's really bad/good for the coop.
