feemcg
Well, not really but I do feel a sort of proud sense of achievement that Freya, my beautiful Welbar from my first hatch this year laid today - a smallish, dark brown egg .....and what a performance it was - in and out the cube, in and out the pink eglu, throwing straw all over herself (before she'd laid ) and squawking the whole time! I'm (not) very patiently waiting for Wendy, the Cream Legbar to give me a lovely blue egg. Her 2 sisters have been laying since last week I'm told - must be the altitude....they live in the highest village in Scotland (trust me to keep the one that lays last!).
