Watched the last episode of the 4 part series Amber last night. I really liked the format - jumping between various days backwards and forwards and finding out a little more each time about the missing girl.

 

But the ending

 

I know in real life there will not always be a resolution to a missing person case but I do expect to find out at least something in a drama. I daresay the producers will say that it was an arty way of showing how the parents were affected by Amber's disappearance but me and OH turned to each other at the end and said - what????

 

That's 4 hours of my life I won't get back

Ditto! I was so disappointed, I even thought there might have been a mistake and there was one more episode to come.

Hadn't seen this series was on - I started off thinking I'd watch it but don't think I will now .
