Space Chick Posted July 7, 2014 Share Posted July 7, 2014 Hello my Chicken loving friends, Yesterday I did the Jubilee Greenway on a Brompton folding bike! 40 miles around London! Those that have been around for a while will remember that I lost my Father in Law to cancer just over a year ago and that he needed intensive Palliative Care at home for 6 months. We wouldn't have been able to have done it without MacMillians support, so I did the event to raise funds for them. Always crops the pictures, on a laptop you can see the extra 0 on the end!! The mileage wasn't too bad, it was the stopping and starting as we shared many of the paths with pedestrians..... On a hot July.... with tourists and walkers We'd hoped to do it faster..... Although I did get up to 18 MPH on the road.... Yes, I am using an iPad and I never realised they did that to photos on the forum - well you learn something new every day! 2800 calories sounds far more like it!
