Edgeman
Hi, On Sunday our 3 girls laid 2 eggs, so we thought oh well one of them is having a day off.. bless. Edgewife checked the nest box yesterday evening and found 3 eggs and a white egg under the glug ! Our girls normally lay pinkish eggs and have never laid a white egg before. They have been laying since june. We think we must have missed the white egg from Sunday but why now a white egg ???? any ideas ? cheers Edgman
Guest
Mine can sometimes vary in colour with an occasional very pale egg (that was when they were laying eggs of course ). I have just thought they must be low on pigmentation that day! I've certainly not heard of any significance. At least you found the egg
The Dogmother
I would treasure it! Mine sometimes lay pale, or white eggs... no apparent reason.

Martin B
Imagine a standard quail egg, my quail normally lay them like that but sometimes I have blue and white ones aswell.
