Our pet cockerel didn't have access to the remote, but he knew what he wanted to watch. Nature programmes always took his interest, the news didn't and he went back to the food bowl. Funny thing though. He used to follow snooker balls across the table. He's old now and tucked up in bed before the TV is switched on.
