mollyripkim
Has anyone else has to resort to a list to count their chickens in from FRing. Sad I know but I've laminated a list with them in groups to make it easier, terrified of leaving one out at night. It was easier with three to start with but 20 makes it a bit harder. One day I was missing one and couldn't for the life of me work out who it was, an investigate found a little pekin at the back of the border having a lovely dust bath which for once took priority over corn. Beantree
I have to confess to going even further. I check them in the coops to see which position each occupies on the perches. Then when poo picking in the morning it's easy to tell which one isn't right and keep an eye on them. We have 30.
Ain't Nobody Here
I've only got 6 so it's not too bad, even considering my advance years . I did forget to lock the stable door of the WIR last night though . Thankfully I'd put them all to bed in their eglus so they were safe!
