chickencam
My YD has asked for the basic belt called Slender tone Flex, for Christmas. I have thought about this in the past to try to tone my weak stomach muscles. I am not skinny but not fat either but my stomach muscles are shot from having three children. I have tried sit ups etc but struggle to even lift my head off the floor. I thought that maybe something like this would kick start the toning then I could move into the more physical stuff from there. My daughter is just lazy. I was thinking that we could share this but at £50 it is not cheap. Has anyone any experience of these products?
soapdragon
I've not got any experience to offer (tho could do with one of these myself!!) but thought that you may be able to look on Amazon (if they sell them on there?) to see if anyone has posted a review. If we want to purchase anything we tend to check there reviews and they have been helpful in the past.
chickencam
It seems that some of them are not that reliable, work for a couple of months then pack up. So reserving judgement at the moment.
soapdragon
Has Which done any reviews? They tend to look at longer term usage.

chickencam
She has been on the Wiifit before but we have a real small lounge where the tv is.. She gets more excercise now she has a 4 hour cleaning job on a Sunday, because she has to walk there then vacuum two three story regency buildings. She is a similar body shape to me so puts on weight around her tummy, she is lucky to have a slim waist though so she just looks nicely curvy at the moment. soapdragon
Our Wii is in the spare room. For Wii Fit I use a step with an added raiser which takes it to around 4.5 inches (sorry, can't do centipedes!) and so this tucks away under the sofa bed when not in use and just pulls out to stand right in front of the telly. So, even though the room isn't big, I don't need loads of room for just stepping up and down for 10 mins (which is what i try and do as fast as poss!) I like to walk round the village as quickly as I can too but, with the weather as it is at the moment, looks like it will be step again tonight What about a stepper so she can walk on the spot? Hope you manage to find something suitable!
