I'm glad your confident, it's essential to have faith in your dentist and hairdresser

Now hairdresser that's a different matter DD is a hairdresser and has been doing my hair for the past 14 years, so far so good you may think She has for boys aged 1yr 5yr 7yr and 8yr who I adore however my poor daughter suffers from depression so it's hit and miss sometimes whether I get my hair done or not! I'm definetly would'nt want anyone else doing it

Gary has been doing my hair for the last 22 years, we have seen each other through thick and thin and I trust no one else. He ofter says he is feeling "creative" an I end up a different colour or style but I always without fail love it....

I went to the dentist, just over an hour round trip, on Monday last to get the veneer fitted. It looked great but, as the temp one wouldn't come off, I'd had an injection. Because of this I couldn't feel how it 'sat' but, when the injection wore ff, it felt uncomfy.

 

Back in again on Thursday afternoon to have it 'taken down' a little...much better.

 

Just making some rice pudding this afternoon when I felt a sort of pop and the darned thing fell off! Have now left message on dentists 'phone to see if she can fit me in tomorrow to glue it back (thankfully nothing planned for tomorrow apart from collecting from school and major housework after half term.) They open at 8.00am so am hoping for an early call back! Such a frustration and waste of time though!

 

I keep thinking of changing dentists to one a little closer but they are technically good and have been happy with them so not sure if I should!

Oh no .... how frustrating.

 

Hope they can fit you in. I have a crown on a front tooth, well it's now on a dental implant in fact as I had to lose the tooth, and I dread it falling off - prior to the implant it fell out several times. I am not vain but I draw the line at appearing in public with a tooth missing, hopefully a missing veneer isn't quite so obvious.

I feel for you soapdragon. mine is ok ATM after all I went through so hang on in there. Olly someone who puts a wax jacket on over her dressing gown, a japanese flying hat and boots to see to the girls in the morning (not a petty sight) I too would not be seen without my front tooth in public

Any chance of a pic You clearly have the flying hat but what about the wet celery (for those 'Ello, 'Ello fans!!)
