Luvachicken
My daughters hamster has quite long nails on his feet which get caught in jumpers etc. I was thinking of making him a little felt hammock type of thing so that we can hold him, without actually holding him if you get my drift, so that his feet dangle and he hopefully can't wriggle. We have looked on youtube etc, but it is not that helpful, even saying their nails don't need doing. Any ideas ?
Cat tails
Maybe with a cat nails clipper? If they are clear (white, colourless) nails, then it should be easy to see the veins and avoid them.
Luvachicken
Yeah, was thinking baby nail clippers that we have from a long time ago, or I do have some tiny sharp scissors. If his legs were dangling (in the felt support) then I could hold his paw quite well and do a quick snip.
Cat tails
Be careful though! Their tiny legs can break quite easily.
