Margaret
Thinking of downsizing to a Go, but really need to sell the Cube after to finance the Go. But I was wondering and looking on e bay, it seems that Chicken keeping isnt as popular as 5 years ago... could be wrong, but just by the topics being posted, much quiter than years ago. So if I spend £300.00 on a Go, whats the chance of getting my money back on the Cube? Any ideas or suggestions please.
Olly
I think it's true that there was a bit of a surge in chicken-keeping a few years ago, this often happens in a recession and when there's been some media activity around self-sufficiency and so on. Overall however I think it is still a very popular hobby and the Cube has a lot of fans so I would have thought you stand a good chance of selling one. Only one way to find out! wez
I looked on eBay and Gumtree etc when we were looking to upsize ironically ... only had the Go for 5 weeks but got about £100 less than we paid for it new and I did include a run extension so a good deal had there definitely. The only reason I didn't get a secondhand Cube was either distance to collect or the quality was a bit dodgy in the photos so if its in good nick and cleaned up I'm sure someone will have it. Good luck
mullethunter
I know quite a few people wanting to start keeping but they're all looking for Classic / Go sized houses. I'd buy your second hand cube if I had moved!
