LittleLau
Firstly I'd just like to thank people here for their help on the ADVICE ON BREEDS thread as I can no longer post there for unknown reasons. I get an error message, and so far no one has managed to sort the issue. I'm not ignoring you honest. We have so far built a railway sleeper surround, laid concrete slabs, and sealed it with a waterproof concrete paint. We are now ready to fill it with something. I had assumed wood chip, as the run is not covered, but I am wondering if I could cover the run and then use something like aubiose? Would a clear tarp, or clear corrugated plastic keep the 3m Classic run dry enough to use aubiose? Many thanks
Chicken shack
I have clear tarp on my run however I will remove it compleatly or roll it back in warmer weather.

Chicken shack
Do you use Aubiose in the run Chicken Shack? Is a tarpaulin enough to keep it dry and unsmelly? Yes it's remarkably dry. I have two batam pekins in there as they were being picked on by the big girls so I had to seperate them. I only put them in there in December, they are on earth only ATM. I am fortunate enough to be able to move it around when I need to but haven't had to yet. If I couldn't I would use wood chip and change it when needed. Ain't Nobody Here
There's an echo in here . I had 2 corrugated plastic sheets on my 3m eglu run and that stayed nice and dry. I also attached a plastic border round the bottom edges to keep the bedding in and the water out.
